Hey there, Heather! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I’m so glad to help you answer your questions about your upcoming trip to the Happiest Place on Earth! During this time of uncertainty, it is normal for some of our Guests to not know if they will be able to travel as they wish. Walt Disney World knows that and is committed to helping everyone stay safe and healthy.
All current closure-related cancellation fees are outlined on the
Experience Updates page. At this time, Disney-imposed cancellation fees are waived for stays with arrivals up to October 3, 2020. Normally, Disney Vacation Packages can be canceled without any penalty up until 30 days before the start of your vacation. You can find the standard cancellation policies outlined on the
Terms and Conditions page.
All of this being said, I know that Walt Disney World understands that this is a challenging time for many visitors, especially those traveling from locations outside the United States. I am certain if you chat with Guest Services via the Disney World website or
call by phone, that they will do everything possible to make this right for you. No later than one month prior to the anticipated start of your vacation, try to re-evaluate your travel plans and contact Guest Services to discuss details. This should allow you to have a game plan for your trip that allows you to make the choices you need for your family!
Heather, I hope that this information gives you peace of mind and helps you enjoy the Vacation of your dreams! If you have any more questions or concerns in the future, please do not hesitate to come see us again!
See ya real soon!
