Hi, Allison!
It is a great day to plan a visit to Walt Disney World, so I am glad you stopped by with your question!
The price of a one-day ticket will vary depending on your travel date, which park you plan to visit, and any ticket upgrades such as Park Hopper (if you plan to visit more than one park on the same day).
You may
purchase your Theme Park Ticket online. Select the number of days for your ticket, then select the date. You will then select the theme park you will be visiting. (If you add on the Park Hopper option or have a multi-day ticket, you do not need to make a park selection.) When you have found the perfect ticket for your visit, you will get the final price, including sales tax, and you will be able to complete your purchase. Then you can count down to your magical day!
To make the most of your day, you might want to consider adding on
Lightning Lane passes. While there is an additional cost for Lightning Lane, this will reduce your wait times allowing you to fit in even more magic to your visit. Lightning Lane can be purchased via your
My Disney Experience Mobile App.
You may make your
Dining Reservations when you are 60 days out from your visit. There are many amazing restaurants in each of the theme parks. A sit-down meal is a nice way to recharge during your busy day in the parks. I like to have a snack mid-morning (a Mickey Mouse pretzel is always a hit!) then plan a late lunch/early dinner as my big meal of the day. This, of course, then allows for a late-night Mickey Mouse Ice Cream bar. Nothing beats a Mickey-shaped treat!
I hope you have a practically perfect day in Walt Disney World!
Cathy
