I have an 8 day ticket. I've changed the dates once as I couldn't make a trip. I need to cancel my August trip. I have no trip planned, ticket nonrefundable. Any next steps or lose my money?

    Hi Jaynee,

Welcome back to planDisney! We're always here to help, and I'm sorry to hear about the challenges you're facing with your trip plans. It's never easy to cancel a much-anticipated Disney vacation, and I completely understand your concern about your 8-day ticket.

Although Walt Disney World theme park tickets are generally nonrefundable, the good news is that most unused theme park tickets do not expire and remain valid until they are used. However, please note that there may be exceptions, especially with special promotion tickets that might have specific expiration dates or restrictions.

I recommend calling the Walt Disney World Resort ticketing line at (407) 566-4985 to confirm the type of ticket you have and any potential restrictions. A Cast Member will be happy to provide you with the necessary information and assist you with any concerns.

I hope this helps, Jaynee, and that you can soon plan another wonderful trip to Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to us again at planDisney. We're here to support you every step of the way.

Wishing you all the best and looking forward to your next magical adventure!

    Warm regards,

    ~Yael
