Hello Donna,
Welcome to planDisney! I'm sorry to hear you have to cut your trip short. Adjusting travel plans can indeed be stressful, especially when it involves missing out on some Disney magic. Regarding your 3-day ticket and the need to miss the last day, here's what you need to know:
Typically, once a
multi-day theme park ticket is used,
refunds aren't available for any unused days. Disney's policy generally doesn't allow for partial refunds on multi-day tickets once they've been partially used. However, it's always worth stopping by
Guest Relations (before you enter the parks and redeem the first day) to explain your situation. While refunds for full tickets and/or partially used tickets are not the norm, they can offer guidance and discuss any possible options with you, whether that's adjusting your tickets for future use or other solutions that might fit your needs.
If your tickets are wholly unused, you have more flexibility. Unused theme park tickets typically don't expire until the first use or the stated expiration date, so you could potentially use that remaining day on a future visit before its expiration. Again, the best course of action is to contact Guest Relations directly. They're incredibly understanding and will provide you with the most accurate information and assistance for your specific circumstances.
Here's to hoping you can find a resolution that works best for you and your travel party. If there's anything else you're wondering about or if you need more advice on navigating your plans, feel free to reach out. We're here to help make your Disney experience as smooth and magical as possible, even when the unexpected happens.
Wishing you the best,
~Yael
