Hi Kimberly, welcome to planDisney!
Walt Disney World Resort has hauled out the holly in preparation for your late December visit. The merry décor extends to beloved attraction overlays such as
Living with the Land - Glimmering Greenhouses at EPCOT. Let's get you on that boat!
Valid admission, a theme park reservation for each park day, and a
method of entry (MagicBand, MagicBand+, Disney MagicMobile pass, or admission card) are currently required for theme park entry. If you purchased your two-day ticket via the
Walt Disney World Resort website, it should already be linked to your My Disney Experience account. If your ticket does not appear on the
"Tickets, Passes, and Memory Maker" tab of your account, use the Will Call Confirmation Number in your confirmation email or the Ticket ID number to
link it to your account.
Once your ticket is linked to your My Disney Experience account, the next step is to consult the
theme park reservation availability calendar and make your theme park reservations online using the
Disney Park Pass system. You'll start by clicking the blue button to "Make or Modify Theme Park Reservations." Next, click the "Book Park Reservation" button and your name should appear for selection as long as your ticket is correctly linked to your My Disney Experience account. On the next page, you'll select a calendar date as well as the available theme park you'd like to reserve that day. The last step is to review and confirm your reservation details. You'll also be required to accept the Terms and Conditions. If the booking is successful, you'll receive a confirmation number as well as a confirmation email. Repeat these steps to make a theme park reservation for your second park day, as well.
The theme park reservation availability calendar currently shows limited options for the end of December. If the park you wish to visit on a certain day is unavailable, I recommend making a theme park reservation for an available park and modifying the reservation if availability for your desired park opens up. If you have a ticket with the
Park Hopper Option, you can also 'hop' to another park after park hopping hours begin at 2:00 p.m. Just make sure you've checked in at the park for which you have a theme park reservation first.
I realize there are many pieces to the Walt Disney World Resort vacation-planning puzzle, Kimberly. Just keep swimming and please don't hesitate to reach out to me directly if this answer raises any additional questions or concerns.
Choose holiday magic,
