Hi Roman, welcome to planDisney!
Your visit to Walt Disney World Resort is just two short weeks away! All four theme parks are draped in EARidescent splendor during
The World's Most Magical Celebration. Keep an eye out for the
Fab 50 Character Statues located throughout the theme parks. At night, each park also features a stunning
Beacon of Magic. The magic is definitely calling!
You mentioned having a one-day theme park ticket, Roman. Please make sure you also have a
theme park reservation, which is required for theme park entry. The last thing you'll need to get you into the park is a
method of entry (
MagicBand,
Disney MagicMobile pass, or admission card). Once that Mickey touchpoint turns green, head straight for your first "must-do," but be prepared to stop for several, "Wow, look at that!" moments along the way.
As long as you have valid admission, a theme park reservation, and a method of entry, Roman, you are welcome to come and go from the park as you please that day. My family rarely lasts from park opening to fireworks and I highly recommend taking advantage of a mid-day break, which can come in many forms. When my kids were younger, we returned to our Disney Resorts Collection hotel for a nap break each day. On my annual Labor Day ladies' trip, we like to beat the heat with a mid-day pool break. Most recently, my family discovered the joy of a park day lunch break at a Disney Resort hotel.
Steakhouse 71 at Disney's Contemporary Resort and
Grand Floridian Cafe at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa are both within walking distance of Magic Kingdom park.
Beaches and Cream Soda Shop is just a short distance from the EPCOT International Gateway Entrance. Advance dining recommendations for all table service dining locations are strongly recommended and can be made up to 60 days in advance.
When strategizing your park day, Roman, keep in mind that attraction wait times tend to be the lowest at park opening. If you're hoping to experience a lot of attractions in one day, consider
Disney Genie+ service, which gives you access to
Lightning Lane entrances at over 40 attractions throughout the theme parks. And if you're planning to be at Magic Kingdom park or EPCOT on your park day, be sure to end the night with
Disney Enchantment or
Harmonious. These nighttime spectaculars are truly spectacular and end any Disney day with an exclamation point.
Thanks for trusting planDisney with your trip-planning question, Roman. Please come back and see us again soon.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
