I have a 7 day stay starting Nov 17 but I called and added the day before so I could get there early and go to Disney Springs in a different room do I need to add to my Disney experience?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Ginger!

Wow, there is so much to love in this question. EIGHT days at Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season, adding an extra day, and an arrival day visit to Disney Springs? You are doing it right, my friend!

If I’m understanding you correctly, you’re asking if you should add the additional night’s reservation, which will be in a separate Walt Disney World Resort hotel, to your My Disney Experience account. I say yes, absolutely. Making sure all your visit details are linked to your My Disney Experience account will help any Cast Members who assist you to see the full picture of your vacation. There are a couple of other areas where it will be helpful to have your new reservation linked:

-If you’ll be flying and arriving at Orlando International Airport, you’ll need this reservation on file so you can register for Disney’s Magical Express motorcoach transportation from the airport to your resort hotel.

-With a linked reservation, you’ll be able to use the Online Check-In process, which allows you to skip the front desk and head straight to your room when it’s ready. You’ll receive a text message or email with your resort room number, and you can use your MagicBand or My Disney Experience mobile app to unlock your room door. It makes arrival day so easy!

-With a second Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation, you'll receive another complimentary MagicBand. If your reservation is linked, you can choose your color or style in advance of your visit; just visit "MagicBands & Cards" under "My Profile" in My Disney Experience.

-If you decide to add a theme park ticket and want to make FastPass+ selections for that first day, you’ll need to have a linked resort reservation in order to make those selections 60 days from your check-in date.

Linking your resort hotel reservation in My Disney Experience is a quick and easy process, Ginger. In the My Disney Experience mobile app, select My Plans, and then tap the + icon in the top right corner to get started. Click “Link Hotel” and then enter your resort reservation number.

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
