Hi Trin!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney. It's always fun to answer a question from another Coloradoan and I'm thrilled to help you plan an incredible Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
I'm glad to hear that you are planning to enjoy some of the incredible restaurants at the hotels at Walt Disney World Resort! Unfortunately,
Disney's Hollywood Studios doesn't have access to the monorail system, so you won't be able to use the monorail to get to
Grand Floridian Cafe for dinner. However, you could use
complimentary resort transportation buses to travel to Grand Floridian Cafe and then return to Disney's Hollywood Studios for the evening. I would recommend that you plan 60-90 minutes each way to use the buses to travel both to dinner and back to the theme park, which may use up quite a bit of your theme park time.
You may want to consider enjoying one of the amazing restaurants that are more conveniently located for your day at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Since the
Disney Skyliner stops at Disney's Hollywood Studios, there are quite a few restaurants to enjoy that are just a gondola ride away. I love
Topolino's Terrace at
Disney's Riviera Resort, which serves food inspired by French and Italian cuisine. Or you can travel to
Disney's BoardWalk, which offers a wide variety of restaurants. I love
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop, which is a retro soda fountain with tasty food and even tastier dessert. Or, you can visit
Trattoria al Forno, which offers incredible Italian cuisine! Finally, if you want a quick and tasty dining experience that will transport you right to the East Coast, you can visit the
Pizza Window for a slice, followed by a visit to
BoardWalk IceCream for dessert! We try to include a trip to the Pizza Window in all of our vacation itineraries because it's a quick meal that's also very tasty!
Be sure to take advantage of
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering when visiting the Pizza Window and other quick-service locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort! Also, feel free to come back to see us if we can help you again as your trip approaches. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
