    For the day we spend at Castaway Cay Guest onboard time is at 4:45pm how early before this should I be back, and what is the process getting back onboard, and approximately how long does the re-boarding process take?

    Ahoy there, Jazmin! Thanks for sailing to planDisney today to ask about one of my favorite topics, Disney Castaway Cay. 

    I'm happy to share that you will be able to take full advantage of your time aboard Disney's island and that it won't take a very long time to get back onboard the ship when you've decided to return to your stateroom. From the family beach area, I've felt comfortable swimming in the ocean and relaxing on a practically empty beach till about 4:25 p.m. before beginning the walk or catching a tram back to the ship. If you are further from the ship, perhaps at the adult-exclusive Serenity Bay beach area, you may want to head to the tram stop at around 4:20 p.m.

    At that time, there will be hardly any line to board the ship, and the process to return will be very simple. You will have a chance to deposit any towels that you used on the island and you will be asked to show your picture i.d. and Key to the World card as you step aboard the ship. You will then be directed through a quick security screening process. Sometimes, small lines will build as guests return onboard, however, I have found the lines to return to be practically nonexistent around 4:30 to 4:40 p.m. if the all-aboard time is 4:45 p.m. on your day at Castaway Cay. 

    While on Disney's Castaway Cay, my two favorite activities are biking and snorkeling. You can rent a bike and go out for a spin to enjoy the natural beauty of the island. If you are interested in snorkeling, the crystal clear calm waters are perfect for spotting fish, sea turtles, and even some hidden Mickeys!

    Before you head off on your adventure, I'd love to leave you with my favorite snack hack on Castaway Cay. You can create your own ice cream and cookie sandwich by snagging a cookie from the BBQ lunch served on the island and sandwiching some sweet soft-serve between it. It's my favorite mid-day snack on Castaway Cay.
