On the day a special tickeed after our event is scheduled, how late the base ticket holders can stay in Magic Kingdom park ? I wonder if I can enjoy fire works with base 1 day ticket admission.

Hey Howdy Hey Sangdok and welcome to planDisney!

I am so excited to hear you will be visiting us in the Most Magical Place on Earth later this year. Christmas time is such a wonderful time to visit the parks. The parks and resorts will be dressed in their Holiday best to get you in the spirit of the Holidays. Thank you for your question about fireworks on Special Event nights. I will be happy to give you the details of the timing for the fireworks.

During your visit, Mickey's Verry Merry Christmas Party will be happening on select nights in Magic Kingdom. On those nights, the parks will close early for day Guests at 6:00 PM with the party officially starting at 7:00 PM. Fireworks will still be held that evening however they will be Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Firework Show at 10:00 PM. I am sorry to say that if you did want to experience the fireworks that evening, you can, just not in the parks. That being said, let's talk about where to view them!

When not in the parks, my favorite place to watch the fireworks is at one of the Magic Kingdom resorts. After your evening in the parks, feel free to hop aboard the Walt Disney World Monorail and check out all of the resorts on the line. Typically around Christmas, all the resorts will be dressed up for the Holiday season as well with beautiful Christmas trees decorated with resort-specific themes. Over at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, they will typically have a working Gingerbread House where you can stop by to purchase some Holiday treats to enjoy. My favorite place to watch the fireworks in Magic Kingdom is at the beach of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Feel free to pull up some beach and enjoy the show! If you get there early enough, you can have a spot with chairs free to the public on the beach to enjoy. The music will be pipped in so you get the full experience!

I am sorry I could not provide better news about experiencing the fireworks in the parks on Special Event nights, but hopefully, now you have some ideas on how and where to watch them and experience the Holiday season around the resorts! Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help!

    To Infinity and Beyond,
