We have a 2 day single park pass. How much is it to update it to a park hopper for 1 day?

Welcome to planDisney, Leslie! Your magical vacation is just a day away, and I know you must be grim-grinning with excitement to see all of the magic of fall brought to life at the Walt Disney World Resort! I just returned from a visit and really enjoyed sampling some Halloween treats, taking in the fall decor, and enjoying the milder weather at night!

Leslie, I love adding the Park Hopper Option to my standard theme park ticket; the flexibility to hop around and enjoy my favorites at different locations is my favorite way to spend a Disney day! I also love having the option to start at rope drop for one park, take a break midday, and head to a second (and maybe third!) park for more fun and a nighttime spectacular! If you choose to add the Park Hopper Option, it is a set cost and applies to all days of your ticket; so if you already have a 2-Day ticket, adding the park hopper will add it to both of your days on that single ticket, whether you use it both days or just one. The price for the upgrade will depend on the date you selected originally for your ticket, and prices are always subject to change, but typically, the cost increase ranges between $60 and $100. The best way to see your upgrade cost would be to follow the steps below to modify your ticket directly in the My Disney Experience mobile app:

    • Select the three horizontal lines at the bottom right-hand corner of the app
    • Select the "My Tickets & Passes" tile at the top left
    • Find your current ticket and see if you have the option to "modify ticket"
    • Click on "modify ticket" and then follow the steps to select the Park Hopper; from here, you should see the cost of your upgrade and be able to finalize and pay for any changes you'd like to make to your ticket
Leslie, I hope this helps you make the change you'd like to make to your ticket! If you find you aren't able to modify your ticket on the app, you can always visit a Guest Relations window at any theme park once you've arrived to have them make the change for you!

If you have any other planning questions before or during your visit, come see us again here at planDisney; we're always ready to unlock the magic with you!

    See you real soon,
    Alison
