    Is the 5 day requirement for a resort cancellation, room only, still current?

    Welcome to planDisney! It is never fun to have to cancel a planned vacation for a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. While I’m sorry it appears you will be doing so, I hope I can help you in any way I can.

    I confirmed with a Cast Member, and currently, you have up to five days before your arrival to cancel your Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotel reservation for a full refund. If you cancel between 0-4 days before your visit, you will forfeit the cost of your deposit. However, you make a valid point; all policies are subject to change. For this reason, I recommend taking a peek at your confirmation email from your reservation before you cancel. The cancellation policy associated with your reservation will be printed near the bottom of your email. If you want to be even more sure, you can contact a Cast Member in Walt Disney Resort Hotel Reservations to verify before canceling.
