Ahoy, Ryan, and welcome to planDisney! There is so much to love about Disney cruises, especially when
immersive themes are woven into the itinerary, creating unforgettable moments. Let's talk about what you can expect during your upcoming cruise!
Based on your indicated early-February arrival date and the mention of Marvel Day at Sea, I'm guessing that you're sailing aboard the
Disney Magic for the 5-Night Western Caribbean Cruise from Galveston. On this cruise,
Marvel Day at Sea is currently scheduled for Day 2, and appears to take the place of Pirate Night.
At this time, Marvel Day at Sea sailings do not include Pirate Night. Instead, you'll find
larger-than-life Marvel Character encounters, themed activities, a thrilling Marvel Heroes Unite Deck Party, fireworks at sea (conditions permitting), and more. You're welcome to dress as your favorite Marvel Super Hero or Villain. Just keep in mind that full-face masks may only be worn at designated photo locations, and toy weapons are not allowed onboard.
If
Pirate Night is offered on a Disney cruise, the schedule will depend on a number of factors, such as the departure port, length of the sailing, and themed entertainment. I looked at other cruises departing on your arrival date in case you'll be on one of those instead (please note the schedules are subject to change). Here's what I found:
- 3-Night Bahamian Cruise from Fort Lauderdale aboard the Disney Dream: Pirate Night on Day 2 (Lookout Cay)
- 3-Night Bahamian Cruise from Port Canaveral aboard the Disney Wish: Pirate Night on Day 2 (Nassau, Bahamas)
- 5-Night Bahamian Cruise from Port Canaveral aboard the Disney Fantasy: Pixar Day at Sea on Day 2 (featuring the Pixar Pals Celebration) and Pirate Night on Day 4 (Castaway Cay)
Make sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App in advance of embarkation day. Once you board the ship, connect to the Wi-Fi and use the app to get the most up-to-date schedule information, including events, activities, and entertainment.
Ryan, if you need information for a different sailing, or if you have another question, please reach out to us again – we're always happy to help here at planDisney. I hope your cruise is full of excitement and adventure!
Anchors aweigh,
