Hi, my ? is: have 10 day PH w/ WP & More for me & 10yr old GS for Aug trip, how much more would it cost to upgrade to AP PH w/ WP & More & if a hotel or free dinning comes up next year will we still qualify for the deals if not needing park

    Hi Cynthia,

When I visited www.disneyworld.com this afternoon to determine the difference in price between the two ticket options you mention in your question (10 day park hopper with water parks fun & more option vs. premium annual pass), it became pretty obvious that the 10 day park hopper tickets look like the better deal.  That is not the case, however, if you anticipate making another trip to Walt Disney World within twelve months.  Then the premium annual pass would be a better bet.

It appears that the ten day park hoppers with the water parks fun & more option would cost $401 each while the premium annual passes would cost $691.19 per pass.  Having the annual passes will earn you some tempting discounts throughout Walt Disney World property but the 10 day park hopper tickets still seem like a better deal.  You'd also be more likely to be eligible for any free dining promotions that may arise if you are purchasing tickets (rather than annual passes) as part of your vacation package.

Have an amazing time with your grandson in August!  You certainly are one cool grandma!

    Best wishes,
    Jill
