    We have 6 day PH tickets for our family of 5 (2 adults, boys 7,5,2). We were gifted 4 additional PH passes - does it make sense to cancel a day of PH for a typhoon lagoon ticket - can I even do that? had planned a mid week day off. Arriving 8/15/11

    Hi Shelly!

    If you have a Walt Disney World Resort package (e.g. room and tickets) then you can make a change without penalty up until 45 days in advance.  So if this is the case, you can definitely just get one day less on your Magic Your Way tickets.  I recommend calling the Disney Reservations Center directly at (407) W-DISNEY.

    If you have just purchased tickets from somewhere else and you already have them in hand, then there isn't anything Disney can do.

    I will add that Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon are awesome!  My two boys, ages 12 and 7, absolutely love both water parks and always want to go on every trip to Walt Disney World.  They both personally like Typhoon Lagoon more than Blizzard Beach, but they definitely like both.  I prefer Typhoon Lagoon myself mostly because it has a lot of natural shading, which I think is important for a hot summer day.
