Hi Iliana,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! It sounds like you'd like some help with Disney Park Passes, let's chat!
As you noted, Park Hopping is dependent on the type of Theme Park ticket you have. For example, if you have a “
1 Park Per Day” ticket, you’ll only be able to make a
Disney Park Pass reservation for one Theme Park and you can go in and out of that Park as needed on that day! There is no Park Hopping for this type of ticket.
Now, if you have either the “Park Hopper Option” or “Park Hopper Plus Option” you will be able to Park Hop throughout the day beginning at 2:00 p.m. as long as the Theme Park you’re going to is still allowing guests to enter. If you purchased any of the Park Hopper tickets, you’ll want to book the Disney Park Pass for the Theme Park you’d like to start in. At 2:00 p.m., you’ll just head over to your next Theme Park, no second Disney Park Pass reservation is needed for that day!
Since you mentioned that you have a three-day ticket, you (and everyone in your party) will need Disney Park Pass reservations for each Theme Park you’re starting in each day. Say you want to go to
Disney’s Hollywood Studios on day one,
Disney’s Animal Kingdom on day two, and you want to round out the vacation at
Magic Kingdom Park on day three. Before June, you’ll want to book a Disney Park Pass for Disney’s Hollywood Studios on your first day, Disney’s Animal Kingdom on the second day, and Magic Kingdom Park on the third day. If you have a Park Hopper, you should be able to go to another Theme Park each afternoon!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare for your Walt Disney World vacation in just a few months. If you have any other planning or vacation questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
