Hi Katie! Welcome to planDisney.
My family spent Thanksgiving with our extended family at the Walt Disney World Resort a few years ago, and we had a blast! We enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner from
Good's Food to Go at Disney's Old Key West Resort and I can still conjure up the memory of how good it tasted. I was so full of gratitude to be in our happy place on that special day, and I'm thrilled that you'll be giving thanks with Mickey in just a few weeks!
As one of the military moms on the panel, I would like to thank you for your service to our country. Those
Military Promotional Theme Park Tickets are an awesome deal but can sometimes be tricky to link. Let's walk you through the steps for linking your tickets in My Disney Experience so you can make your Theme Park Reservations.
First, log in to your
My Disney Experience account by clicking "Sign In" at the top of the
Walt Disney World Resort website. Then, hover over the My Disney Experience tab and click "My Plans." Hover over Park Tickets and click "Link Tickets." You'll see a field here to enter the ticket number from the back of the ticket cards you received from Shades of Green. Check to make sure there isn't a silver scratch-off area where you need to scratch to reveal a full ticket number. There are several types of tickets, so click through the sample ticket types on the right side of the page to find yours.
Once your ticket number is accepted, follow the steps to link each ticket to a Guest. If you're having trouble linking your tickets, I have two ideas. The first is to try using the My Disney Experience mobile app, where there is a barcode scanner; this sometimes works to get your Ticket ID accepted. If you're still getting an error, you'll need to
call the My Disney Experience Help Desk, where a friendly Cast Member can assist you. I've had to do this a few times with military tickets, and have always found the Cast Members on the phone super helpful. I recommend calling right at 7:00 a.m. and being ready to wait, as hold times are longer than usual right now.
When you get your tickets linked, you'll be ready to make your
Theme Park Reservations. You can do this on the same "My Plans" page under Park Reservations.
I'm sending pixie-dusted wishes that you can get everything linked and your Theme Park Reservations made quickly and easily. You will be in the magic so soon, and if you have any further questions as you count down the days, please come back and see us. Katie, be sure to read the
Disney Parks Blog this month for news about Thanksgiving and holiday treats and offerings throughout Walt Disney World. Have the BEST time!
Wishing you much magic,
Robyn
