Hey Howdy Hey Michael and welcome to planDisney!
Thank you for stopping by with your question about your previously purchased theme park tickets. I will be happy to provide you with a little more information and options you may have so you can better plan for your next trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth.
Gone are the days when Disney sells theme park tickets with the "No Expiration Date" option. As long as you still have your tickets Disney will still honor them. The catch with theme park tickets is per the current policy,
tickets are nontransferable and nonrefundable. I am not quite sure what the policy was in 2001 or which one, past or present, they may honor in your specific situation if you wanted to completely change your tickets. The best option is to
call Disney to see if they will honor the price you paid for those tickets in 2001 and apply it to the cost of the six 2-day theme park tickets.
If you have not been to the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks since 2001, there have been a lot of changes to be super excited about. EPCOT is one of the parks with many recent updates.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is an attraction that takes thrill rides to the next level! This reverse launch coaster is super fun and such an exciting ride with an amazing soundtrack that you have to check out.
Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana is another recent addition to the park. This self-guided walking tour allows you to as get hands-on as you would like to experience how water flows through our environment in all its forms. This is a fun and super relaxing experience for everyone to enjoy.
I hope you can get back to the fun of planning your next trip real soon. Please feel free to stop back with any questions you may have, we are always happy to help!
Have a Magical day,
Nick
