Hello Christine,
If I understand your question correctly, you’ve bought 7-Day Theme Park Tickets, but you’re only staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel for 5 days (or nights) and staying in a hotel outside of Walt Disney World Resort for another 2 days.
As you may already know,
MagicBands can’t be shipped internationally, which means that they can’t be shipped home to you in British Columbia. If you’re planning to stay in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel when you first arrive in Central Florida, your MagicBands will be waiting at your Resort’s front desk when you arrive. If your Theme Park Tickets are linked to your My Disney Experience account, then you should be good to go! The fact that you won’t be using all of your days of admission during your stay won’t have an impact on your MagicBands any of your entitlements or other perks, such as
Extra Magic Hours, that may be available to you.
If the “off-site” portion of your stay happens before you arrive, you have a choice: you can either ask to pick up your MagicBands at your Resort prior to your arrival or, if they aren’t available yet (which is often the case), you can go to Guest Relations in order to pick up Admission Cards to use until your check-in date.
Please note that, for the nights that you don’t plan to stay in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel or another eligible hotel, regardless of how or when you purchased your Theme Park Tickets, you won’t be able to access perks that are reserved exclusively for those hotel Guests.
Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
