Hi Becki! Thanks for stopping by planDisney!
I'm excited to hear that you'll be spending two full weeks at the
Walt Disney World Resort in just a couple of months! I've always dreamed of visiting for this amount of time but I haven't been able to make it happen just yet. Let's jump right into your question and get you set up for a magical holiday!
One of the perks of visiting from the UK is being able to purchase
14-day park tickets. This allows you the ultimate flexibility each park day and ensures that you have plenty of time to do everything you plan on. You won't feel pressured into cramming everything into one day.
Even though you have 14 days allotted to you, you don't need to make a
park reservation for every one of these days. You'll simply need to make a park reservation for only the days you plan to visit. If you want to build in a rest day or explore some of the other destinations in Central Florida, you have the option to do so.
With this said, I would suggest making a reservation for your rest day just in case you decide to visit a park later that evening. I did this recently and liked having the option to go to
EPCOT just to watch the nighttime firework display. Since I had the extra park day built into my tickets, there was no penalty to do so. If you don't end up entering the park, you will still be able to use that additional day later in the trip if needed.
If your tickets come with the Park Hopper Option, you can visit multiple parks each day. Park reservations are required for the first park you visit, but after that, any park you visit will not require a reservation. You can start park hopping at 2 PM each day.
Becki, I hope this information helps you plan for your stay! Have a magical visit!
See ya real soon!
