Welcome to planDisney Claire! I’m so glad you stopped by with your question. Planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort is such an exciting experience, and with so many incredible attractions, dining options, and hidden gems to explore, I’d love to help make your visit as magical as possible. With a mix of rides, experiences, and fantastic food across the parks, there’s something for every member of your family to enjoy. Let’s dive into the best must dos, dining recommendations, and a few little known surprises to make your trip extra special!

At Hollywood Studios, I recommend starting your day with Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, as it tends to have the longest waits. If your little one isn’t tall enough or interested, you can take advantage of Rider Switch so everyone who wants to ride gets a turn. Slinky Dog Dash is another must do, so securing a Lightning Lane Pass is a great idea. Toy Story Mania is perfect for all ages, and Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway is a fun ride the whole family can enjoy. For a midday break, the Frozen Sing-Along Celebration is a great way to cool off, and little ones love seeing Elsa bring the magic of Arendelle to life. When it comes to dining, 50’s Prime Time Café offers a nostalgic, interactive meal experience. End your evening with Fantasmic!, my favorite nighttime show featuring fireworks, water effects, and fun Disney characters.

At Animal Kingdom, mornings are the best for Kilimanjaro Safari, as the animals tend to be more active. Pandora – The World of Avatar is a must visit, with Na’vi River Journey offering a fantastic boat ride, while Flight of Passage is an exhilarating ride for older guests. Satu’li Canteen in Pandora is a great spot for lunch, offering fresh, customizable bowls. If you're looking for a sit down meal, Yak & Yeti has delicious Asian inspired dishes. In the afternoon, take a ride on the Wildlife Express Train to Rafiki’s Planet Watch, where kids can visit the Affection Section petting zoo and even take part in an animation class. As the day winds down, Pandora is breathtaking at night with its glowing bioluminescent scenery, making for a truly magical end to your visit.

At Magic Kingdom, Fantasyland is the best place to start with little ones, as rides like Dumbo the Flying Elephant, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and It’s a Small World tend to have shorter waits in the morning. Peter Pan’s Flight is a quite popular , so securing a Lightning Lane for it is a great idea. If you're looking for a character dining experience, Be Our Guest or Crystal Palace offer great options for breakfast or lunch. For a mid day break, Enchanted Tales with Belle is a wonderful interactive experience, and the Liberty Square Riverboat offers a peaceful cruise around Tom Sawyer Island. In the evening, a meal at Cinderella’s Royal Table makes for a fairytale ending. Be sure to secure a great spot on Main Street for the Happily Ever After fireworks.

I hope you find this information helpful as you prepare for an exciting visit to Walt Disney World Resort, Claire! Thank you again for visiting planDisney. Have a magical day!
