Hi Gerardo! Thanks for bringing your question to us at planDisney! I'm so happy to see you will be making your way to the Happiest Place on Earth in less than a month. I hope you can start to feel the magic at your fingertips!
I know a lot of Guests traveling during these times have similar questions so I'm happy to walk you through the
current health and safety guidelines for a day at the Disneyland Resort! The State of California strongly recommends all Guests be fully vaccinated or receive a negative COVID-19 test before entering the parks. You will not be asked, however, to show proof at entry so you should be all set for both of your park days!
Some additional measures in place to maintain the health and safety of our Guests and Cast Members are that all Guests (2+) are required to wear face coverings while indoors, which includes most attractions and enclosed transportation vehicles like the Disneyland Monorail. For now, face coverings in outdoor spaces remain optional. All Guests are also required to make
theme park reservations in addition to having their theme park ticket to ensure the parks are kept at crowd levels that meet health guidelines. Making reservations is now part of the process when purchasing your ticket, so you may already have these set to go! If not, you can make reservations by choosing "Make Park Reservations" in the
"Theme Park Tickets & Reservations" section of the website. Reservations are limited and subject to availability, so I recommend getting these in place as soon as you can. If for some reason you don't see availability for your dates, don't worry! Keep checking back as Guests are always changing their plans and reservations can often open up!
I'm so excited to hear that you will have two full days to explore the Disneyland Resort! Have you been able to check out
Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park? This new immersive land will have you casually mingling with some of your favorite Avengers, slinging webs along with Peter Parker on
WEBSLINGERS: An Amazing Spider-Man Adventure, and seeing some mystical magic at the
Ancient Sanctum from the one and only Dr. Strange. Not to mention, you can eat like a Super Hero on some of the tastiest treats of epic proportions at
Pym's Test Kitchen!
Gerardo, I just know you are in for a magical few days. Be sure to take a few moments to slow down, grab a treat and take in all the sights and sounds. Usually, the most magic is found in these more unexpected moments. If you have any other questions, feel free to reach back out to
me or any of my fellow panelists here at
planDisney!
Magic awaits!
Tara
