I’m really sorry to hear things might not work out for you to visit the Disneyland Resort using the final day of your Summer 2023 California Resident Ticket. I reached out to Cast Member Jill with the Tickets phone line to verify information about this topic. Jill let me know that if a California resident promotional ticket is wholly unused, it would be eligible to be upgraded to a new ticket of equal or greater value, thereby resetting its expiration date. Unfortunately, such an upgrade is not currently possible for a California resident ticket that is partially used.

If at all possible, I hope you can book a last-minute theme park reservation for tomorrow, September 28, 2023, to use that last day of your ticket. Even if it is for only a few hours, it may be worth enjoying Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort. My wife was just telling me one of her favorite things to do during Halloween time is to ride the omnibus to get a higher view of the many decorations that make up the Main Street Pumpkin Festival.

While that may not be the news you were hoping to get at this time, I hope you have a chance to make the most of the situation and enjoy any bit of Disneyland Resort magic you may have left in your current ticket.
