Hey there, Gloria!
Excellent question! Let me first extend a warm welcome from all of us here at
planDisney to you, “Welcome Gloria!”. Now you’ve come to the right spot, I’ll be more than happy to help put those tickets to good use.
Many theme park tickets purchased before the shunt down have been given an
extended expiration date. If you are unable to visit before that extension date,
Hakuna Matata…it means no worries. You
will be able to use your wholly unused and expired theme park tickets towards the purchase of a new theme park ticket that is equal to or greater than the current existing value.
You’ll want to visit any one of the
Disneyland Resort Main Entrance Ticket Booths to apply your existing tickets towards the purchase of new ones. Keep in mind, you’ll also need a
theme park reservation to visit the parks as well, so be sure to give yourself plenty of time to plan out your visit. The good news is, you’ll be able to book your theme park reservations 120 days before your visit! If you are looking to visit sooner than that, you’ll be happy to hEAR that the
Availability calendar is always changing. You never know what you might be able to reserve at the last minute, so be sure to check for theme park reservations often!
Gloria, I hope this helps answer your question and prepares you for your upcoming visit. After all this, you’ll be ready to enjoy your day(s) at the Disneyland Resort. Until then, please be sure to let us know if there’s anything else we can help with.
See ya real soon!
