Hey Diana!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m glad you found us and have brought your question for us here to answer!
By now, I’m sure you have heard the exciting news that the
Happiest Place on Earth is planning to reopen next month! The Downtown Disney District has been approved for a reopening of July 9th, 2020 and
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park are planning to reopen on July 17th, 2020. Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa plan to open July 23rd, 2020. It’s such an exciting time for the Disneyland Resort.
As of right now, unused Single-Day Tickets and wholly unused Multi-Day Tickets are valid until their expiration dates. If you have something that says the tickets are good until January 2022 but the tickets say January 2021, I would go with what the tickets say. To be absolutely sure I would reach out to your travel agent, a
Disney recommended travel agent or whoever you purchased the tickets from to get a clear answer on when your tickets expire. If for whatever reason your tickets do expire before you are able to visit the Disneyland Resort, you will receive the value of the tickets towards the purchase of new tickets and you'll just need to pay the difference of any price changes at the time of your visit. Rest assured that in a worst case scenario, you will not lose what you paid for your current tickets.
Well Diana, I hope this information finds you safe and well and if you have any more questions about planning your future trip, please come back and let us know.
Remember, always believe in the Magic!
