Emma from LA Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I have 7 day parkhopper passes purchased for a trip in August. Now I am planning to return in November for Wine and Dine races and plan to upgrade to an annual pass when I arrive. Will I lose my advance fastpass reservations if I change the ticket?

Greetings, Emma, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so excited to hEAR about your upgrade to an Annual Pass. I finally snagged mine earlier this year and the money I have saved with my Annual Passholder Benefits as well as my Memory Maker and Park Hopper abilities has been eye opening. I should have done it years ago!
As long as you have not used your tickets, you can call right now to upgrade your tickets over the phone by calling (407) 560-7277 to speak with an Annual Passholder expert! (If you have used your tickets, you would have to upgrade at the Theme Park Ticket Window or Disney Springs Guest Relations desk).
As far as your FastPass+ reservations go, as long as there is a ticket attached to your My Disney Experience profile, your FastPasses will still be there.  After 24 hours of completely dropping a ticket from My Disney Experience, that’s when FastPasses also drop. Isn’t that neat? So your selections will not be in danger of being long. Even with the Annual Pass just sitting there, waiting to be activated, the FP+ selections are still good to go!
Be sure to taste my absolute FAVORITE treat during Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival, the Spiked Dole Whip. It’s topped with a floater of Bacardi Coconut Rum, so make sure you stir well before enjoying. Have a fabulous, strong run and I’ll see you in the exclusive Annual Passholder entry line at the parks! ~ Lindsey P.
