We have 2 day park tickets and our reservations are March 1st Magic Kingdom and March 3rd Disney Hollywood Studios. May we upgrade the 2nd day to park hopper?

    Hi Patti, welcome to planDisney!

You've officially arrived at Walt Disney World Resort - hip hip hooray! While in Magic Kingdom Park today, you can give Mickey a big wave in the Festival of Fantasy Parade (at 12:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m.) or a warm hug at Town Square Theater

I understand your desire to maximize the magic during your park days, Patti. The Park Hopper Option allows you to spend the morning at one park, then 'hop' to another park after 2:00 p.m. You can even use a ticket with the Park Hopper Option to visit four parks in one day. Note that a theme park reservation is only required for the first theme park you enter each day.

You can add the Park Hopper Option to your standard theme park ticket anytime as long as your ticket is not expired and has at least one unused day; however, the price of adding the Park Hopper Option is a flat rate based on the original number of days purchased. This means your option is to upgrade both days to the Park Hopper Option, even if you only plan to park hop on your second day. Since you're likely to be in Magic Kingdom Park when you receive this message, I recommend stopping by the Guest Relations Lobby in City Hall to discuss your ticket upgrade options with a friendly Cast Member. City Hall is located directly across from Town Square Theater in the front of the park. You may even find that adding a third day to your ticket makes more sense (and cents) than adding the Park Hopper Option.

Adding the Park Hopper Option or a third day to your ticket would allow you to explore Batuu and Andy's backyard at Disney's Hollywood Studios as well as the incredible topiary displays at the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival. The magical opportunities are endless!

My top tip for a picture-perfect spot in Magic Kingdom Park is between Mickey and Minnie's golden character statues with a backdrop of Cinderella Castle. You'll find these statues to the right of the Partners statue that features Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse in front of Cinderella Castle. It's a very special place to capture a memory of your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth during The World's Most Magical Celebration.

    Have a magical day!
