We have 5 day park tickets, and I have dining reservations for 4 of those days. I wanted to leave the last day open for whichever park we want to visit again. My question is how available are table reservations "the day of" in your experience?

    Hello Susan!!!

What a great question!!!  It really depends on what time of the year you are planning your Disney vacation.  If your vacation is during a peak season time, it is REALLY hard to find a walk-up reservation for any time of the day.  However, we visited in September three years ago, and we were able to make several walk-up reservations throughout the week.  NOTE:  Since that vacation, we have made Disney Dining reservations every year well in advance!  I am a planner, so the stress of not knowing if we could find a reservation at a restaurant almost gave me a heart attack several times on that particular vacation!

If I were you, I would not wait until the day of to make a Table Service Disney Dining reservation.  When my family visited Disney World last November, I remember hearing a Cast Member at The Crystal Palace say their estimated wait time for lunch would be two hours!!!!  Since my family consists of five kids, that would have been a nightmare!!!

I hope this helps you in your planning!  If you have other questions, please let me know!

    Have a MAGICAL day!!!
