Hey there Arleena,
Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for your question! How exciting that you're planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort in a little over a week from now - have you started counting down the days, yet?
The first time a
theme park ticket is used at an entry gate, the Cast Member who scans the ticket will also take a quick picture of the Guest using that ticket. This picture will be associated with the ticket for its duration. Since tickets must be used by the same person after first use, you would not be able to swap tickets around among other members of your party, but each person would instead need their own ticket for entry into the parks.
However, if you've purchased your 3-day, 1-park per day tickets as the
Southern California Resident Ticket Offer, you can use the three days of your ticket on non-blockout days up until the end of this promotional ticket's expiration date of June 2, 2024. The days do not have to be subsequent, but can be spread out on eligible days until then!
If instead you purchased standard 3-day, 1-park tickets then you would just need to use each of the days within 13 days of first use. Either way, I'm hoping you have some flexibility - even if your boyfriend has to work during the time - for him to use his entire ticket!
Thanks again for your question, Arleena! I hope you all have a fantastic time visiting the Happiest Place on Earth.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
