Hi Karen,
Thank you for dropping by planDisney with your great question about Theme Park Tickets. I am glad to see you are considering a visit to Walt Disney World Resort, as the
50th Anniversary Celebration just getting started, I can't think of a more perfect time to head back to the "Most Magical Place on Earth"!
First, what I would do is try linking your Theme Park Tickets to your
My Disney Experience Account and see what is listed as the expiry date. To link your Theme Park Tickets go to the
Walt Disney World Resort website and under the My Disney Experience tab near the top righthand side, select "My Plans". From there, scroll down to find 4 blue buttons and hover over "Park Tickets" and select "Link Tickets". Follow the prompts to enter your ticket information. If you aren't able to link your Theme Park Tickets or they aren't showing up properly, since your Theme Park Tickets were purchased a while back, you may need to
call and speak to a Cast Member about your specific Tickets. Even if your Theme Park Tickets have expired since they were purchased, you should be able to use the value of your wholly unused Theme Park Tickets toward the purchase of new Theme Park Tickets.
Once your Theme Park Tickets are properly linked to your My Disney Experience Account, please don't forget to make your Theme Park Reservations using the
Disney Park Pass System. Guests are now required to have both a valid Theme Park Ticket as well as a Theme Park Reservation for every day you wish to enter into a Theme Park, and capacity is still limited.
I hope you will be able to visit Walt Disney World Resort again soon, Karen. If you have any other Disney planning questions please come back and visit
planDisney again, we are always happy to help.
