Hi Justin and welcome to planDisney. I'm glad that you stopped by the most magical place on the internet to help with Disney Vacation planning. February is a wonderful time to visit as you are just ahead of the spring break crowd.
This is my recommended 3-day schedule provided there are
theme park reservations available.
February 28th at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Make this your first stop at you shrink down to the size of Andy’s toys in
Toy Story Land and then join Rey, Fin, Chewbacca, and the rest of the Resistance at Black Spire Outpost in
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Regular Theme Park hours are from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM. If you are staying at a
Disney Resort Collection Hotel then you may have Early Entry at 8:00 AM. To quote Darth Vader, “This will be a day long remembered.”
March 1st at Magic Kingdom Park
This should be your second day because this Theme Park has both
Early Entry at 8:30 AM (all Disney Resort hotels) and
Extended Evening Hours until 12:00 AM (applicable to specific hotels including Disney Deluxe Resorts and Villas). Regular Theme Park hours at the “Most Magical Place on Earth” are from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Be sure to visit
Mickey Mouse in the Town Square Theater, the 999 happy haunts at the
Haunted Mansion, blast off into the galaxy at both
Space Mountain and
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, as well as take the “wildest ride in the wilderness” on
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
March 2nd at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
I recommend this Theme Park on your last day because it has the least number of attractions but definitely the “wild” ones. Theme Park Hours are 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM with the opportunity for Early Entry at 8:30 AM. You will soar through the floating islands of Pandora on
Avatar Flight of Passage, see African savannah animals on
Kilimanjaro Safaris, and if your son is both tall and brave enough then search for the Yeti at
Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain.
planDisney Pro Tip:
Disney’s Genie+ Service will help you create a custom Disney day and allow you to make Lightning Lane entrance reservations essentially allowing you to avoid the standby line for “more doing and less queueing.”
Justin, please
let me know if you have any other questions.
Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
