Hi Laura,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for taking the time to send your question our way. I am so sorry to hear it is taking longer than expected for you to get back to
Disneyland Resort, we can all use some more magic in our lives.
You are absolutely correct, most Theme Park Tickets have received an automatic extension to their expiry date to December 16, 2021 due to the temporary closure last year. While Theme Park Tickets are typically non-refundable, you are able to use the value of your wholly unused Theme Park Ticket toward the purchase of a new Theme Park Ticket when you are ready to head back to the Happiest Place on Earth. If you would like more information regarding your specific Theme Park Tickets, I recommend calling
Ticket Services where a Cast Member will be happy to discuss your options.
When you are ready to visit Disneyland Resort, please remember that you will need to have both a valid Theme Park Ticket as well as a
Theme Park Reservation for every day you wish to visit a Theme Park, Since it looks like you will need new Theme Park Tickets prior to your visit, you will be able to purchase your Tickets and make your reservations at the same time, making it quick and easy to get back to the magic!
I hope you will be able to head back to Disneyland Resort soon, Laura. If you have any other questions, please come back and visit us here at
planDisney, we are always happy to help.
