Hi there, Jonathan! Welcome to planDisney. There’s something so magical about visiting Disneyland during the holiday season! Even better, your visit begins on November 13, which is the official start of the
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. You’ll get to see the parks transform with beautiful holiday decorations, twinkling lights, festive touches, and that extra sprinkle of magic that makes this time of year so special!
I had the pleasure of visiting the parks with
17 of my closest friends, and it was nothing short of magical. As you explore Disneyland, you can expect to see Main Street, U.S.A. beautifully decorated for the season, along with the beloved Sleeping Beauty Castle covered in sparkling snow. You’ll also find seasonal entertainment, holiday treats (HELLO Mickey Gingerbread!), merchandise, and favorite attractions getting a festive transformation, including “it’s a small world” Holiday and Haunted Mansion Holiday.
Over at California Adventure, you can experience the holiday magic throughout the park, including the festive décor in Cars Land and the return of the
Festival of Holidays with delicious food and entertainment inspired by different holiday traditions.
With so much holiday magic happening throughout the parks, November 13 is such a wonderful day to begin your visit! I’d definitely give yourself plenty of time to slow down, take in all the decorations, grab a cup of hot chocolate, and enjoy the little details that make the holidays at Disneyland so memorable. You’re in for such a magical visit!
Jonathan, thank you so much for visiting planDisney. I hope this information is helpful as you continue planning your holiday visit to the parks. If you have any more questions until then, planDisney is here for you!
With a Sprinkle of Pixie Dust,
Bev
