Hi, Lisa! Thanks for stopping by planDisney and asking your question!
I love that you want to spend so many days at the Disneyland Resort! If I could, I would probably be there every day of the year! At this time, a
five-day ticket is the longest duration of ticket available. So, to add a sixth day, you would have to purchase an additional one-day ticket. The only other option would be to purchase a
Magic Key which would give you access to the parks all year long, subject to blockout dates and theme park reservation availability.
Speaking of
theme park reservations, keep in mind that a reservation is required for each day that you want to visit the parks. If you purchase your tickets on the Disneyland Resort website, you will make theme park reservations at the time of purchase. If you have Park Hopper tickets, you will make a reservation for the park you want to start at each day and then at 1:00 p.m., you can hop to the other park.
Since I see that you will be visiting this December, you will definitely want to read up on the new
Disney Genie service that will be debuting soon. Disney Genie will create customized park-touring itineraries based on your interests and will even update throughout the day according to wait times. You'll also have the option of purchasing Disney Genie+ for $20 per day, per ticket. Disney Genie+ allows you to select a return time for an attraction and skip most of the wait by using the Lightning Lane.
I hope this helps! Have a great time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
