I had a 2 day park hopper. We used the first day already and were schedule to go the next day but we had an emergency and can’t make it. Can I cancel and change reservation for the second day?

Hi there, Marcos! Welcome to planDisney. I'm so happy you made your way to us as we love helping our fellow Guests with their Disneyland Resort questions. I'm so sorry to hear that you had an emergency during your visit. I can understand that ending the magic early was probably hard all around on top of the emergency itself. I'm sending lots of happy thoughts your way and hope that you and your family are healthy and ready to make your way back into the parks.

You can absolutely cancel and change theme park reservations, provided there is availability. The one caveat with a multi-day ticket is that they expire 13 days from the first use. Depending on when you enjoyed your original park day, there is a chance you may now be outside of this window. I realize this is likely not the pixie-dusted news you were hoping for! You are always welcome to call the Guest Services team to discuss your situation directly and ask any specific questions you may have.

If we are still within your 13-day window - hooray! Let me walk you through rescheduling your reservation! Since your original date has passed, you will not need to cancel it. While it's preferred that Guests pro-actively cancel reservations they are not using so that other Guests may scoop them up and enjoy the parks, there is currently no penalty for non-Magic Key Holders at this time if you did not cancel in advance of the date. This is subject to change, obviously, but Hakuna Matata for now! To make a new reservation, you can open up your Disneyland Mobile App and tap the "+" in the bottom navigation bar. Select "Make a Park Reservation" and follow the prompts from there! You can always take a look at the theme park reservation calendar ahead of time to see what reservation availability is looking like. Guests are always changing their plans, so if you don't see your preferred date available initially, just keep swimming ... I mean checking! Reservations can and often do pop up!

Marcos, I sure do hope that you find your way to the Happiest Place on Earth very soon! If you are heading into the parks this week, be on the lookout for the return of Fantasmic! along the Rivers of America on May 28th! Mickey will once again be taking you on an epic adventure through his dreams where he encounters a familiar cast of characters weaved together as only Disney storytelling can do! The finale is one of my all-time favorite Disney moments - you just wait!

If you have any more questions about your planning, please reach back out to us at planDisney! We are always here to lend a helping Mickey-shaped hand!
