I have 3 day Park Hopper tickets for March 2021. How does it work if the 2nd park has reached capacity by the time you get there? Can you wait at the entrance for people to leave? Much like shopping these days, 2 people leave 2 people can go in?

Your trip is coming up so soon, Heather. I'm excited for you!

Thanks for checking in with a question about how the Park Hopper Option works these days. As a reminder, you'll need to do three things in order to park hop.
    1. Purchase the Park Hopper Option. You note that you currently hold tickets with this option, so you've checked this requirement off your list. Nice!
    2. Make a reservation for the first park you plan to visit.
    3. Enter the park where you have a reservation before you visit the second park. Note that the option to visit a second park begins at 2 PM.
As of right now, a reservation is not required for the second park, but because the Walt Disney World resort is committed to the health and safety of both guests and Cast Members, entry to the second park is subject to availability. Keep a close eye on the My Disney Experience mobile app while you're there; push notifications will be sent to indicate when/if a theme park reaches capacity. You can also stop by any Guest Relations location to check on capacity limitations.

In the event you leave the theme park where you had a reservation intending to "hop" to a second park and that second park reaches capacity prior to your arrival, I would speak to a Cast Member at the park's entry. He or she will be equipped to advise you.

I hope you have a lovely trip, Heather. The Taste of Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival will be happening during your trip. I highly recommend a visit!
