Have 5 day park hopper tickets & I want to exchange for 8 day base tickets. Will they allow me to trade when the new tickets cost less than the original ones? If so, will they refund the price difference or maybe let me apply it to a different ticket?

    Hi Sharon,

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel. It is a little difficult to answer very specific questions about ticket exchange issues and refunds because we don't know all the ins and outs of Disney policies. But let me tell you what I did when I had a recent problem and needed to ask for a refund.

I went to the Contact Us section of the website and sent a detailed email explaining my situation. I quickly got a notice that my inquiry had been received and in a couple of days, I got a detailed email explaining how to fix the situation. It included a reference number.

I took the email and the documentation to Guest Services at one of the theme parks when I arrived this weekend, and my issue was fixed quickly. The cast member at Guest Services said that having a reference number made it easier for her to handle efficiently, especially since there was a refund involved in my case.

I hope that helps. I would like to be more specific, but I don't want to give you incorrect information. I am sure the Guest Services folks will be able to assist. Please let me know if I can offer any other advice as you get ready for your vacation. Enjoy!
