I have a 6 day park hopper ticket starting from 9th of January. If I would like to visit the parks on the 8th, am I able to add a one day extra ticket on when I get there? If so, can this be done at my resort or do I need to do it at one of the parks?

Hi Kelly. Thank you so much for coming back to us at planDisney. We love repeat customers!

Most Guests are usually able to add another day to their ticket package when they arrive at the resort, depending on the ticket type they have purchased. However, I might suggest that you look into the details of the offer you booked and see if you can add the day before you arrive. I say this because January 8, 2024 is the last day that all Guests will have to make Theme Park Reservations to visit one of the theme parks at the Walt Disney World Resort. You'll likely want to have these reservations in place before you arrive. I would hate for you to get to the resort and not be able to make a reservation for the day you'd like to add. If you look into your particular ticket type and discover that you can add another day but still want to wait until you arrive, you can do this at a Guest Relations location outside of one of the theme parks or at the Disney Ticket Center in Disney Springs.

While you'll need a reservation to visit on January 8th, you will not have to make reservations for the other parks you are visiting on January 9, 2024 and after (if you have date-based tickets). Furthermore, you won't have to wait until 2 p.m. to hop to your next park starting on that date as well. Instead, when you feel like going to your next destination, hop on a bus or other mode of transportation...and go! Just keep in mind that on January 8, 2024, you will need to wait until 2 p.m. to go to your next park.

Kelly, I wish you safe travels and a wonderful visit. Be sure to reach out again if you have any other questions.

Always let your conscience be your guide,
    Matt
