Hello - We have an 8 day park hopper ticket in December. I have made park reservations for all 8 days. If we do not go to any park on one of the days we have a reservation what happens to the ticket day associated with that park reservation?

    Hello Sarah,

It's wonderful to see you here at planDisney! It's so exciting to hear you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during the merriest time of the year.

It's great to hear you have purchased your theme park tickets and made your theme park reservations. That's some really great planning to get ready for all the magic that awaits you.

It sounds like you have purchased an 8-Day Ticket with Park Hopper Option. You would be able to use the ticket for theme park admission for any 8 days within the specified time period of the ticket. In the case of an 8-day theme park ticket, the ticket would expire 12 days after the date you select to start using the ticket.

It's helpful to know that the theme park ticket does not need to be used on consecutive days. You will want to keep in mind, though, that all the days on the theme park ticket would need to be used during the specified time.

If you decide to change up your plans, you can easily cancel a theme park reservation using the features in the "My Plans" area of your My Disney Experience account. Before you cancel a theme park reservation, it's recommended to take a look at the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar. This will let you see if the new date you might wish to visit has reservations available to select for the theme park you'd like to visit. You can then use the Disney Park Pass system to make a new theme park reservation for the valid day on your ticket.

Sarah, I hope this information helps with addressing your question. If you have additional questions about your tickets, you can reach out to the Walt Disney World Resort at (407)-934-7639 and speak with a Cast Member for additional assistance.

Here's wishing you lots of holiday magic for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
