We have 3-Day Park Hopper Southern California Resident Tickets but are waiting for our youngest to get her COVID vaccine. If our tickets expire May 26, 2022, can we redeem the value of our wholly unused, expired theme park tickets and purchase a new ones?

Hey Krishelle! We are so happy to have you stop by planDisney with your ticket question.

I'm sorry to hear that it sounds like your family has not been able to use your Southern California Resident Tickets and they are set to expire very soon. We are all trying to navigate all of our new normals and Disneyland Resort has taken to great lengths to make Guests feel safe to return to the parks. Disneyland Resort also has a great ticket policy currently in place to help Guests be more flexible with when they are ready to return. According to eTicket Terms and Conditions, a wholly unused, expired ticket can be used towards the purchase of a new ticket of equal or greater value. This means that when you are ready to visit Disneyland Resort you will be able to use those tickets towards the purchase of new tickets. Horray!

I do recommend that when you are ready to visit you try to upgrade those tickets as far out from your upcoming visit as you can so that you can make theme park ticket reservations for the dates needed. Then you will be set to start planning any other extras for your visit, like dining reservations. These can be made 60 days out from your visit. As a southern California resident myself, I visit often and don't make a lot of advance dining reservations. I do, however, utilize the mobile walk-up list that many participating dining locations offer that lets me enjoy same-day reservations. There is also the option to mobile order your food from many locations throughout the parks and I use that whenever I can. You'll see me ordering my Ronto Wrap for an afternoon bite while waiting in an attraction queue. My Disneyland snack game is important!

Krishelle, I hope this information helps you feel at ease that Disneyland Resort is waiting for you and your family as soon as you feel comfortable visiting. See you real soon!
