    We have a 5-day Park Hopper Plus ticket. Can we visit ESPN Wide World of Sports complex even if there is no occurring event? Or admission is allowed only when an event takes place there? Is it possible just to walk around this complex?

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It is a pleasure to answer a question from a fellow Brazilian!

    Can you imagine being an athlete and competing right in the middle of the magic at the Walt Disney World Resort? More than 200 events take place each year at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, and Guests who have theme park tickets with Park Hopper Plus option are welcome to visit this spectacular complex as one of their extra experiences. Please note, however, that an event must be taking place on the day you plan to visit. Check out the events calendar online, and use the search engine to filter events and find out if anything will be happening during your visit. Please note that the calendar is subject to change without notice, so keep checking back as your vacation approaches for an updated list of events.

    I have the most amazing memories of the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex during the Walt Disney World Resort Marathon Weekend. The beautiful complex comes to life with all the runners visiting the runDisney expo, and I hope you also have to chance to experience the special excitement and energy that only sports and competition events can offer during your visit.
