Hiya Catherine - welcome to planDisney!
I'm so glad that you found us and stopped by with your question for our team of panelists. We love to help Guests just like you plan magical
Walt Disney World Resort vacations!
Let's get straight to the point - at Walt Disney World Resort a
Water Park is not considered a Theme Park when it comes to tickets, and thus does
not count against the number of days you have on your
Theme Park Ticket. Because you purchased the Park Hopper Plus Option for your 5-Day Theme Park Ticket (great choice!), you will
also receive five "admissions" that can be used at a Water Park or at other available sports and recreation offerings, like Miniature Golf, during your ticket's valid use period.
For a 5-Day Theme Park Ticket with the Park Hopper Plus Option, you should have nine days total to use all that your ticket has to offer. That means that you'll be able to visit Theme Parks on any five days you choose (and have valid
Park Pass Reservations for), and you will also have five admissions to Water Parks or other experiences to use as well.
Those "admissions" are not treated as or counted by days. You can use multiple admissions on the same day! For example, if you wanted to go to
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and
Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf on the same day, that would use up two of your five admissions. You can even use them on a day you're visiting a Theme Park if you want, but I love to stretch out my vacation and use these on non-park days. I know some Guests who really love the Water Parks will go every afternoon, spending the mornings and evenings in Theme Parks, and the hot afternoon at Typhoon Lagoon. You could do that too, and that would use up all five admissions and all five of your Theme Park days. There's lots of flexibility here!
I hope this good news is helpful as you continue your planning!
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions, or if you're curious about something else as your vacation approaches!
