We have a 4 day park hopper plus package. In order to go to the waterparks, do we need reservations or can we just go on any given day and time?

    Hi Tara,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

In my opinion, the Disney water parks are the true hidden gems of Walt Disney World Resort. My little guy constantly asks us to go to visit Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park during our visits, although he’s recently decided that Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park might be his new favourite, as he recently told me that he thinks it’s “less for babies” than Blizzard Beach... He's 5 years old, so being a "big boy" is a big deal to him nowadays!

In any event, you’ll be happy to know that you don’t need reservations to visit either Walt Disney World Resort water park. What I would recommend would be to pick 2 or more days that could work for your family for a splash-tactic day of fun. The morning of your the first potential visit, if the weather isn’t cooperating, you can change your plans to head for a day of fun at Disney Springs instead.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
