Hi Brenda! We are so happy to have you here at planDisney! Just a few short weeks from now you will be mixing and mingling with Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and all your favorites. With character greetings back in action, you can snuggle in for a big old hug or grab your phone for a one-of-a-kind selfie!
I completely understand wanting to extend that magic! While three days is a great amount of time to experience all there is to see and do at the
Disneyland Resort, five days allows you to take it all a bit more in stride. You'll get to slow down, relax by the pool, enjoy a nice meal or cocktail and really let that magic settle in around you. If you are looking to upgrade your tickets ahead of your arrival, I would give the
Guest Services team a call and speak to a Cast Member directly. Currently, there isn't a way to upgrade tickets via the website or the
Disneyland Mobile App, and Guests are encouraged to visit the Main Entrance Ticket Booth in person to make these types of changes. That being said, I know you are likely eager to get those Disneyland ducks in a row before you land at the Happiest Place on Earth. The Cast Members in Guest Services might have a bigger supply of pixie dust than we do over here at planDisney, so they may have some extra suggestions up their sleeves!
With a little bit of extra time, you might want to weave in some time to explore the hotels, particularly the
Disneyland Hotel. I just love the nostalgia built into every corner from the old photos in the lobby of Walt himself in the early days of planning to the tea cup chairs in the lobby. You won't want to miss the Krakatoa Punch from
Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar, or pop into the
Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill for a quick-service breakfast - the Tangaroa Toast is legendary! This spot is also one of the only places outside of the parks where you can grab that world-famous DOLE Whip®. There is a ton of outside seating around the hotel which makes for such a nice break from the park hustle and bustle. You can even grab the
Disneyland Monorail from Tomorrowland straight to
Downtown Disney District. It's an attraction in and of itself and it will drop you just a few steps from the hotel!
Brenda, I hope this was helpful in your planning! If you have any more questions, please come back to see us. We are always here for you at
planDisney!
Magic awaits!
Tara
