We have 2-day Park hopper May 30 & 31. We want to prioritize Hollywood Studios and Epcot, but will plan to visit all 4 parks. What is your suggested order for attending two parks each day?

    Hi Michele!

Welcome to planDisney!  I'm glad you stopped by with a great question about planning your park days!  With just two days in the parks, you made a great choice to purchase the park hopper option with your tickets.  This will allow you the chance to see and experience a taste of what Walt Disney World Resort has to offer - and probably give you hints of even more things you want to explore on a future visit!

Michele, since you have said that Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT are your priorities, I would recommend not doing them both on the same day.  For your first day, I would start at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park as it typically has the earliest opening time of the parks.  You could purchase an Individual Lightning Lane for Avatar Flight of Passage and try to use Disney Genie+ to grab a Lightning Lane for Expedition Everest.  When you arrive at the park, head straight for Kilimanjaro Safari to see the animals first thing in the morning and hopefully beat the crowds!

Once you have finished exploring Animal Kingdom, you can take a bus and hop over to Hollywood Studios.  If available, you can start booking Lightning Lanes for Hollywood Studios before you arrive in the park!  My top priorities for Lightning Lane reservations here would be Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Slinky Dog Dash, and Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway.  I'd also recommend using Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering to grab a Quick-Service meal at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo.  I like finishing my day at Hollywood Studios because it's home to my favorite nighttime spectacular - Fantasmic!  You won't want to miss the amazing journey inside Mickey's imagination!

For your second day, I would begin at EPCOT.  Before arriving, you can attempt to join the virtual queue for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at 7:00 AM.  If you aren't able to join the queue, you could try again at 1:00 PM from inside EPCOT or purchase an Individual Lightning Lane.  World Showcase doesn't fully open until later in the morning, but popular rides such as Frozen Ever After and Remy's Ratatouille Adventure open with the park.  Those are two of my favorite rides and also very popular so using Disney Genie+ to grab Lightning Lanes would be a great option.  While you're in the park, check out Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in Norway - a great spot for yummy baked goods!  You can then use the monorail to hop to Magic Kingdom Park in the afternoon where there is something for everyone - from familiar classics to big thrills.  I recommend ending your day in this park because there is nothing more magical to complete your Walt Disney World Resort vacation than with Happily Ever After fireworks over Cinderella Castle.

Michele, I know that this is just a quick look at some ideas on how to spend your two days in the parks, and invite you to ask another question of me or any of my pals here at planDisney.  I hope you have a wonderful trip!

    See ya real soon!
