I have a 7 day park hopper from last April and it says I have until September. We plan to go in April but only for 5 days. Can I save the two other days for later and what happens if I don't use them. Can I downgrade the Park Hopper for account credit?

Hello Jason, and welcome to planDisney! I’m so happy to welcome you here for the first time. It sounds like you’ve had to reschedule your Disney vacation plans, as many others have as well. You’re certainly in good company!

Now that it is possible once again to return to the magic, many people have the same questions that you are having. As you have already noticed, all Theme Park Tickets purchased through June 6, 2020 with a valid use period beginning March 12, 2020 or later have automatically had their expiration dates extended to September 2021. However, if your plans have changed and you no longer need all of those Park days, you may call the Disney Existing Tickets department to discuss what your options may be. I am sure the Cast Members will come up with an option that works for you and your travel party!

Jason, have you seen the Know Before You Go pages? They are frequently updated and outline many of the changes in policies and availability since the Disney Parks phased reopening, including the Park Ticket policies as they relate to your question. The Disney Parks Blog also has up-to-the-minute information about all the latest and greatest happenings in and around the Parks. Lastly, please know that we are always here, ready and waiting to discuss all your Disney vacation plans, so come back and see us anytime we can help!

    Happy planning!
