Howdy Brianna!
Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your question. It looks like you are just a few weeks away from visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth, and could use a little help creating a plan to maximize your time visiting Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and the Magic Kingdom with the park hopper tickets you have purchased. Like my friend Tigger, let's get bouncing to it!
Alrighty, so I checked the
Walt Disney Website and see that when you purchase 2-day standard date-based tickets with the park hopper option, you have to choose a start date. You set a start date of January 24th, so that gives us through the 27th to make your park hopping plans. Now that we have that down, let me help you plan your visit if it were me.
The first thing I would do is prioritize my day by going to the park that opens the earliest on most days. You also mentioned that you would like to ride Frozen, and since it does close for a short refurbishment on January 26th, I would be sure to make Epcot a priority as well. According to the Park Hours and Info in the
My Disney Experience App, Animal Kingdom opens 1 hour earlier than the other parks at 8 am. This allows you to get in early and experience all the amazing rides, shows, and food first thing in the morning. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, you also get the benefit of early entry at 7:30 am. I really wish riding an Ikran were a transportation option to Epcot, but since it’s not, let's take my second favorite, the Walt Disney World bus service. You can find the buses just to the right as you exit the park. There, you will see signs with the corresponding bus stop number to Epcot.
So I know you’re thinking, how about Magic Kingdom? Ok, hear me out on this one. You are absolutely right that on January 27th, the Magic Kingdom will open at 9 am and close early at 4:30 pm, according to the Parks Hours and Info in the My Disney Experience app. In my experience, going to the Magic Kingdom on days when it closes early is the best way to go because it tends to have lighter crowds. Once you’ve ventured through all of the magical lands, you can now hop to whichever park you would like. Is Kilimanjaro Safari calling your name? Then head over to the buses just outside of the exit to the left, and you can be there in a hop, skip, and a jump. Maybe you need to live with the land just one more time, so you take one of my favorite transportation options, the Monorail, back over to Epcot.
Brianna, this can seem like a lot, so I want to share my favorite tip to help you and your party see and experience a few of your favorite things. I would absolutely consider purchasing a combination of the
Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass. The Lightning Lane Multi Pass allows you to purchase your passes for Lightning Lanes up to 3 days early with your date-based theme park tickets. The Multi Pass allows you to book arrival windows for up to 3 experiences before your visit. After you redeem a pass experience, you can book your next. Now, not all rides are available on the Multi Pass, so you will want to book those using the Single Pass option. This allows you to choose a Single Pass ride like Tron: Lightcycle/Run at an available time that works best for you and your party. You can purchase and find all of the information you need in the My Disney Experience app.
Brianna I sincerely hope that you have the most magical time park hopping and enjoying all that the parks have to offer. If you have any further questions, please HOP back by, and my friends and I here at planDisney will be happy to help.
See ya real soon!
Robert
