Welcome to planDisney, Scott!
Thanks for stopping by to see us as you plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort next year! I'm happy to share more about available ticket options to help you plan two practically perfect park days!
Scott, a
standard two-day theme park ticket allows you to enter one park per day. If you're only planning to visit
Magic Kingdom Park and
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, this ticket would allow you to spend one full day in each. However, you could choose to add the
Park Hopper Option to your ticket and visit multiple parks each day, giving you more flexibility and the opportunity to explore even more of what Walt Disney World has to offer. With this option, you can hop between Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom, and also add stops at
EPCOT and
Disney's Hollywood Studios if you'd like. Ticket prices vary based on the date of your visit, and
theme park reservations are no longer required for date-based tickets.
planDisney Pro Tip - When park hopping, I like to start my day at Animal Kingdom since it typically opens earlier than the other parks. If you're looking for a great breakfast here, I recommend stopping by
Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery after enjoying
Kilimanjaro Safaris!
With a quick trip,
Lightning Lane passes may be a good choice to help you make the most of your time in the parks. I like using Lightning Lane Multi Pass on my visits to minimize wait times for some of my favorite attractions. Lightning Lane Single Pass and Lightning Lane Premier Pass are also available if you're looking for additional options. You can purchase Lightning Lane passes starting 7 days before your trip if you're staying at a hotel in the
Disney Resorts Collection and 3 days before your visit if staying elsewhere.
I hope this information has been helpful, Scott, and that you enjoy making many magical memories at Walt Disney World! If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney - we're all ears!
Cheers!
