I have a 3 day park hopper and don't know how to add genie plus. Also, will we get wrist bands, etc? This is our first trip.

    Hi Kristy!

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for sending this great Disneyland Resort vacation planning question to us hEAR!

You are doing a great job planning your visit to Mickey's house so far, Kristy. I wanted to double-check that you also have your Park Pass Reservations scheduled as well; if not, there's still time to make your selections according to the current Park Pass Reservation Calendar. Also same question but about any seated Dining Reservations you'd like to schedule.

There are currently two ways for Guests to add the new Disney Genie+ service to their Disney days; the first way is at the time of purchase of your Theme Park Admission Tickets, and the second way is adding it each day of your visit after you've already entered the theme park turnstiles. Since you already have your tickets, your only option now is to add the purchase each day. However, I personally prefer this method because you can sort of test-drive Genie+ on day one of your vacation to see if you'd even like to add it to the other two days. Or, perhaps some in your party may want it for days two and three and others don't, etc, this gives you all the option to pick and choose. Making the purchase in the park is really easy as there are multiple prompts to find the Genie+ add-on in your Disneyland Mobile App. And once added, you'll simply press the "+" button and then 'Tip Board' to find a list of available attractions that are ready for booking!

As far as MagicBands+, those are coming to Disneyland Resort for the first time ever later this year, however, we don't have an actual date just yet. So for your visit, Kristy, your theme park tickets will be digital on your phone but you should also get printed physical tickets when you enter your first theme park. (The Cast Member who scans your ticket from your phone at the turnstile will take your picture to attach to your digital ticket profile and will also then print your physical tickets.)

I hope that this helped to clEAR things up a bit, Kristy! Be sure to follow the official planDisney Instagram account where we're sharing even more tips and tricks. And if you have any more vacation planning questions to The Happiest Place on Earth, We're All Ears!
