Hi Gail, thanks for dropping by planDisney!
I'm excited for you that you've got a complimentary ticket you're ready to use! I love the flexibility of a
Park Hopper ticket. With a Park Hopper ticket, my family likes to hop after lunch. We usually hop back to our original park later in the night. You can absolutely do that!
You'll want to link your complimentary admission ticket in order to make a
theme park reservation. You can do that on the Disneyland Resort website. Click "Link Tickets" in the "My Disneyland" menu. Once you've linked your Park Hopper, you can make your reservation. Check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to be sure your desired date is available. Since your admission ticket is a Park Hopper, when you make your selection, you'll be picking which park you want to begin your day in with the option of hopping to the other park anytime after 1:00 PM.
If you haven't downloaded the
Disneyland mobile app yet, go for it! You'll be able to see your linked tickets and park reservations in the app and know you're ready to go. It's a great planning tool, and once you enter the theme park, you'll be able to use it to purchase the
Disney Genie+ Service. That can help save time waiting in lines for attractions that offer a
Lightning Lane entrance.
I hope you have a wonderful time!
Elizabeth
